Background: Road accident statistics has been seen increasing over the years despite numerous efforts made by the authorities. Human factors have contributed 90% of accident occurrence with risky driving behavior being one of the significant human factors that can be further explained through norms. This review paper aimed to investigate the relationship between norms and drivers’ risky driving behavior. Methods: A systematic review process was conducted through four academic databases namely Scopus, Wiley Online Library, Emerald and Web of Science of no limitation for date. Overall, 3443 titles were identified and after several screening and reviewing processes, only 27 studies were included. Results: The results of the review demonstrated mixed findings between subjective norm and risky driving behavior, whereas the relationship between group norm, moral norm, injunctive norm, descriptive norm and risky driving behavior were observed significant. Conclusion: Appropriate educational awareness is required to educate the society in practicing good norms for mutual benefit of the society. Parents also need to set a good example for their children by abiding the traffic rules and regulation.

The term norm inflation appears to be a generalization, towards all sources of law, of legislative inflation, defined as a disproportionate increase in the volume and length of legislation. As with monetary inflation, the overabundance of sings risk causing their devaluation (Carbonnier). Is this a benign illness or the symptom of systemic pathology of the legal system? Is it specific to our time or has it been known before? Are the effects visible throughout the law or confined to particular areas of it? If norm inflation produces undesirable effects that deserve our attention, we should look at this scope, now and in the past, its foreseeable effects, its possible causes and remedies that might counter it. This article looks at the phenomenon of norm inflation, with reference mostly to Canada, France, the UK and the USA, and with a glance at the Iranian situation. The article demonstrates how economic analysis can be used to broach the matter.

This contribution deals with the mathematical modeling of R-norm entropy and R-norm divergence in quantum logics. We extend some results concerning the R-norm entropy and conditional R-norm entropy given in (Inf. Control 45, 1980), to the quantum logics. Firstly, the concepts of R-norm entropy and conditional R-norm entropy in quantum logics are introduced. We prove the concavity property for the notion of R-norm entropy in quantum logics and we show that this entropy measure does not have the property of sub-additivity in a true sense. It is proven that the monotonicity property for the suggested type of conditional version of R-norm entropy, holds. Furthermore, we introduce the concept of R-norm divergence of states in quantum logics and we derive basic properties of this quantity. In particular, a relationship between the R-norm divergence and the R-norm entropy of partitions is provided.

This paper focuses on the norm retrieval problem for wavelet transform. The wavelet transform associated with an admissible wavelet is norm retrieval. However, this problem is difficult in special cases, i.e., for wavelet systems. We give some results of the norm retrieval for wavelet systems.

We study the existence of infinite-dimensional vector spaces in the sets of norm-attaining operators, multilinear forms, and polynomials. Our main result is that, for every set of permutations PP of the set {1,…,n}, there exists a closed infinite-dimensional Banach subspace of the space of nn-linear forms on ℓ1ℓ1 such that, for all nonzero elements BB of such a subspace, the Arens extension associated to the permutation σσ of BB is norm-attaining if and only if σσ is an element of PP. The effect’s domain of choice or spreading the norms influence incorporates all dimensions of individual and social actions of people. Identifying the norms in people’s life and social, survey the way effect on direction of individual and social actions and criticism of norms’ pathology, especially considering the increasing influence of media, and Iran’s science attachment to west countries has become to a serious need. The answer of this need first requires accurate apprehension of norm and its application for human’s life. In order to address this important issue, this paper is examined the concept of the so-called norm in terms of conceptual study. Then, based on the principles governing the process of perception, is presented a theoretical model of the three functions of the norms for a human action. Finally, on the basis of this model the formations of the concept of normality and abnormality, the Validity of the norms as well as the different forms of the norm disturbances have been described. Contemplate the way of the models’ formation, the concepts of abnormal and normal, indicating norms’ damage to the three basic forms: The falling of norms’ validity, deliberately create doubt about the validity of norms as power tools, with the aim of directing and controlling the population and social groups, is done as well as the simultaneous presence of conflicting norms in the minds and actions of people.

In this paper we present some properties of set-norm exhaustive set multi functions and also of atoms and pseudo-atoms of set multi functions taking values in the family of non-empty subsets of a commutative semi group with unity.
